                  Delta Psi History

Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Psi Chapter celebrates thirteen (15) years of service, currently presiding under the leadership of Tamekia Brown. Delta Psi Chapter is in the Southeastern Region and was chartered March 26, 2010, in Atlanta Georgia, under the administration of Past National President Jean Dade Batchie and Past Southeastern Regional Director Brenda Bennett. The eight charter members who came together to organize this chapter were, Nora A. Coes (Sponsor), Patsy Diggs, Rena Fletcher, Rosetta Nobles , Drewnell Thomas, Barbara Triggs, Brenda Moore, and Dr. Michelle Townsend.

In August 2022, chapter member Sonda Bradfield was elected to serve as the 19th National President at the 35th Biennial Boule.
Additionally, Delta Psi chartered its first men auxiliary group – The National Council of SHADs (Club #63). Currently Delta Psi is
forming its first youth group, scheduled to start in 2023.

In July 2024, Delta Psi and our great city of Atlanta will play backdrop to
the 36th Biennial Boule. We will proudly welcome Eta Phi Beta Sorors from all over the country.
Our beloved Delta Psi, a wonderful sisterhood, is committed to community service. Nothing is more rewarding than serving with the love, cooperation and support of the many talented Sorors of Delta Psi.

Our Chapter promotes the Sorority’s objectives and motto of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – “Not For Ourselves but For Others”.
